Imphal, January 11: The initiative to hold peace talks between India government and NSCN(IM) leaders is a good one the All Manipur Students' Union today said.

If the state territory will be compromised the students to fight for their rights will leave all their educational institutes and fight to protect the state's territory A Shyam Singh Secy Gen of AMSU today said in a press statement.

There is no point in studying while your house is burning he said.

He appealed to all to remain vigilant.

The AMSU is surprised that Muivah does not know anything about his ancestors he said.

Muivah and his puppet Isak after trying to live a revolutionary life are compromising their stand as they have become old now he said.

If he does not end the movement he knows the children of all those who gave their life will not pardon him.

It is unfortunate for all the people of Manipur in the hills and the plain to have a man like Muivah he said.

Forgetting the true history he is trying to take advantage of the situation by using a concocted history he added.

His acts will be badly reflected it added.

No Meitei said Ukhrul belongs to the Meitei but it is true that Ukhrul belongs to all Manipuris he said.

Manipur belongs to 30 communities that live in the state but Muivah cannot force a concocted Naga history in Manipur he added.

The statements of Indian leadership and the NSCN(IM) which are taunting the people are well observed and the people know what it means he said.

Large numbers of other organizations also issued press statements voicing their concern over the irresponsible statement of Muivah.

They appreciated Isak for speaking keeping the considering of all communities.
