Imphal, May 30: Condemning the bomb blast at the office complex of RIMS Director Dr Fimate on the night of May 25, the proscribed outfits UNLF and KYKL have described it as an act of terrorism perpetrated by KCP (MC) at the instigation of security forces to malign the revolutionary movement and mislead the people.

In a joint statement, deputy secretary organisation of UNLF N Ibochou and secretary publicity and research of KYKL Laangamba Mangang , while pointing out that hospitals are not targeted even during times of wars, denounced the conduct of the security forces as a crime against humanity.

Cautioning the people against such conduct of the security forces, the joint statement asserted that KCP (MC) which has claimed responsibility for the attack is in fact some selected henchmen of the security forces staying at the Mantripukhri based IGAR (South).

The main objective of the group is to discredit the revolutionary movement through their anti-people activities and carried out the hidden agenda of the security forces and the Government.

The security measures purportedly being taken up by the Ibobi Government after the incident of bomb blast at Babupara in the morning of April 24 last and planting of explosive at BT Road has also revealed the nexus between KCP (MC) and the security forces and the Government.

Otherwise, how KCP (MC) could venture inside a high-security zone like Babupara to trigger the blast.

The joint statement went on to day that as to the reported planting of explosive along the route of Governor at BT Road, it is questionable how could such a small bomb caused harm to the Governor's convoy.

But the Government has blown up whole incident like that of explosion of an atom bomb and caused great inconveniences to the public following restriction on entry of vehicles in the Bazar areas on the pretext of security measures.

Similarly, the recent bomb blast at RIMS was also a part of the secret agenda of the security forces and the Government, and the participation of the Health Minister in the sit-in-protest demonstration was only an eyewash, to cover up their own misdeed, the joint statement said.
