Imphal, July 24: With the State unit BJP president, Th Chaoba effectively highlighting the situation in the State in the backdrop of the indefinite economic blockade imposed by ANSAM to the Central leaders, the BJP is set to depute a three member team to get a first hand account of the situation.

In a statement, BJP said that Th Chaoba has been camping at Delhi since July 20 to highlight the situation here to the Central leaders and the matter was minutely discussed during the National office bearer meeting of the party on July 23.After minutely discussing the situation in Manipur, the BJP has decided to depute the three member team to Manipur as well as to bring up the matter on the floor of Parliament.

The three member team will include the vice president of the party T Gehlot and Ahluwalia while the third member is likely to be the Opposition leader in the Rajya Sabha Jaswant Singh.

In case Jaswant Singh gets pre-occupied with Parliamentary duties, another MP will be named to take his place.
