Imphal, January 24: Involvement of two Ministers and the Speaker in the kidnap and murder case of GAD Minister Francis Ngajokpa's eight year old daughter Lungnila Elizabeth will be declared very soon to the public along with evidence, said information and publicity kilonser of NSCN (IM) Chawang.

In a telephonic conversation with The Sangai Express today, Chawang said based on confession of the main accused Letsei Haokip alias James Kuki involvement of the SPF legislators in the murder has been confirmed.

The main reason for not making the public declaration is due to necessity for gathering more evidence to substantiate the accusation, said the kilonser from his Dimapur base.

In the conversation, Chawang informed that following denial of the SPF Government on involvement of Works Minister Gaikhangam, Tribal Development Minister Ngamthang Haokip and the Speaker TN Haokip .

in the case the kilonser had personally met the outfit's interrogation officer Major Ashang with the latter giving a positive reply of the interrogation procedings.

To a query on release of James Kuki from their custody, Chawang described the accused as a dangerous criminal and with the organizations own regulation further investigation would be conducted and based on the intensity of the crime appropriate punishment will be given.

For the time being no decision has been taken for release of James, Chawang affirmed.

Neither the Centre, Nagaland and Manipur Government had officially proposed to the NSCN (IM) to release the most wanted criminal of Manipur nor has the Ceasefire Monitoring Cell intimated to the outfit on the matter, asserted the kilonser.

Stating that extracting more evidence from the hardened criminal is a time consuming process and requires delicate handling, Chawang said handing him over to the authority is irrelevant at the present juncture as the organization need to probe on the motive behind the kidnap and murder of the Minister's daughter.

Asserting that James is from the Haokip clan to which the Tribal Development Minister Ngamthang also belongs, Chawang informed that a cordial relation between the two is a well known fact ever since the prime accused was in charge of KNF's finance section.

James and the TD Minister had met several time to deliberate on monetary demand of KNF, he added.

Undeterred by denial of Works Minister Gaikhangam that James is a stranger to him (Minister), the NSCN (IM) leader declared that facts could be established of the two meeting on several occasion and James already knew that the Ministers would certainly deny the charges.

On contention of SPF Government that the NSCN (IM) allegations is aimed at toppling the Government the kilonser brushing aside the accusation said the organization does not want to politicalise the issue nor aspire to topple to Government.
