Imphal, November 18: While refuting the police claim that its vice-chairman has been arrested, the proscribed KCP (MC) has warned the AMUCO for its press statement issued in connection with the killing of CDPO Rasheswari.

The militant group also reiterated its justification for killing the CDPO.

A statement issued by KCP (MC)'s secretary of Military Affairs Lanheiba Meitei flatly rejected the police claim that its vice-chairman was apprehended as reported in media.

Lanheiba clarified that there is no post by the name of 'vice-president' on the organisational structure of KCP (MC).

Oinam Suranjoy alias Piba s/o Kokngang of Yumnam Khunou was handed over to Manipur Police after he was nabbed by Delhi Police on July 23 this year.

Lodged in Sajiwa jail, he was released on bail only in the afternoon of November 14 before he was pulled up by commandos on the next day on the alleged false charge of being the outfit's vice-chairman which is non-existent, Lanheiba claimed.

Further categorically reacting to the press statement issued by the AMUCO in which the murder of CDPO Rasheswari was reportedly termed an anti-revolutionary act, KCP (MC) maintained that the killing of Rasheswari was not related with being 'revolutionary or anti-revolutionary' at all.

Accusing the AMUCO of transgressing from its activities of being social organisation, Lanheiba stated that an operation under the name "Total Punish" will be launched against the AMUCO after declaring it an anti-social organisation.

He also sought people's moral support towards operation "Total Punish".

Stating that KCP (MC) does not see any difference between men and women at the time when all the people, both men and women, have equal human values and rights, Lanheiba justified the killing of CDPO Rasheswari.

The CDPO was eliminated under its campaign of Amotpa Sengdokpa launched as a part of its 'Democratic Social Revolution'.

The killing was not motivated by any personal interest but by social interest, Lanheiba asserted.

Referring to the bomb blast at Videocon House, Paona Bazar, the KCP (MC) refuted any connection with the incident.

Random killings and any form of human rights violation on fabricated charges are against the political ideology of KCP (MC), maintained Lanheiba.
