Imphal, January 16: Alleging lack of transparency in the ongoing peace talks between the Government of India and the NSCN (I-M), MSF Imphal East District Committee has .announced its resolute stand against any move to disturb the existing territorial integrity of Manipur.

Since there is no transparency of the talks between the two parties, there is apprehension that the territorial integrity of Manipur might be compromised by the Indian Government to appease the Naga rebel group of realizing its dream of Greater Nagaland demand, general secretary of the Committee, NC Arnukhomba said in a press release.

He stated that though MSF welcomed the ongoing peace process to find an amicable solution to the vexed Naga political problem, it would resolutely oppose any sinister design to dismember the existing boundary of the State at any cost.

Every volunteer of MSF are ready sacrifice their lives for the sake of safeguarding the territorial integrity of Manipur, he said, reminding Indian Government of the mass uprising on June 18, 2001 in which eighteen precious lives were lost.
