Kohima, August 29 (NNN): Lok Sabha MP from Manipur Outer Parliamentary Constituency Mani Charenamai and Tamenglong Assembly Constituency MLA Samuel Jendai are likely to speak at the Naga integration rally to be held at Kohima on August 31, according to the Naga Hoho.

Disclosing this to Newmai News Network today, Naga Hoho vice president Keviletuo Angami said that Lok Sabha MP Mani Charenamai will be one of the many speakers at the Naga integration rally to be held on August 31 in the Nagaland capital and MLA Samuel Jendai is also likely to be one of the speakers at the rally programme.

Later, it was confirmed from a separate source that MP Mani Charenamai will definitely speak at the occasion.

Attempts to contact Samuel Jendai over phone proved fruitless.

Right now I cannot confirm whether more Naga MLAs from Manipur will speak on the occasion but it is hopeful that a large number of public will attend the August 31 programme in Kohima, said Angami.

The Naga Hoho vice president also said that Naga MLAs from Arunachal Pradesh would also be participating the Kohima rally.

Besides these MLAs, social leaders and public figures from Arunachal Pradesh will participate in the programme, said Keviletuo Angami.

Meanwhile, the Sumi Hoho (Sema tribe apex body) has appealed to all the general public in Nagaland to attend the August-31 Naga integration rally.

Elaborate arrangements have been made for the D-day in Kohima with the Naga Hoho leading the way.

The main theme of the August-31 rally will be to show solidarity to the demand for integrating all Naga inhabited areas into one administrative unit.

On June 16 the United Naga Council (UNC) had organised the Naga integration rally in the four hill districts of Tamenglong, Chandel, Ukhrul and Senapati.
