Senapati, August 26 (NNN): The United Naga Council (UNC) has described Chief Minister O Ibobi as an insincere leader and added that it has taken strong exception to the latter's "insincerity" in solving the non-cooperation movement of All Naga Students' Association, Manipur (ANSAM).

Reminding that the intimations' of the Naga Hoho, as well as from the Prime Minister and Union Home Minister, had constrained ANSAM to suspend its agitation, UNC president Puni Modoli charged that there is no visible effort made by the-State Government to resolve the issue till date.

Modoli further stated that the economic blockade had an adverse effect on every section of the State and added, "despite efforts of the UNC and Naga Hoho, O Ibobi Singh and his Government does, not appear to appreciate the decision to lift the economic blockade".

Such an attitude not only tantamount to challenging ANSAM but has deeply hurt the Naga people and provided the impetus to the student body to hold their ground with renewed determination, the UNC leader fumed.
