Imphal, August 20: The All Manipur Students Union, AMSU has announced that it will utilize the fund driven fro the observance of Hunger Marchers� Day for the flood-affected people of the State.

Informing this during a press conference held at AMSU HQ at DM College campus this evening, Union Secretary, A Shyam Singh said that this year�s Hunger Marchers� Day observance would only be a token one and the fund collected for the same would now be utilized for flood victims.

A decision to this effect was arrived at yesterday�s Executive Committee meeting of AMSU, he informed.

Various units and branches of AMSU set up relief camps in flood affected areas of Imphal East, West, Thoubal and Bishnupur districts, the secretary said.
