Imphal, January 15: All Manipur United Clubs' Organization has spelt out its resolute stand on the territorial integrity of Manipur by asserting categorically that the Indian Government or any other outside force do not have the right or the courage to disintegrate Manipur.

Addressing media persons at the office of the organization this evening, AMUCO president Jagat Thoudam stated that Manipur was not created by India or any other imperial power.

It is the creation of the different ethnic groups of people who have been settling here in peaceful co-existence and unitedly safeguarding its territorial integrity for the past many centuries.

No force in the world is strong enough to disturb the existing territorial boundary of Manipur, he said.

He maintained that the whole of North East is a hot spot and the people of the region are under some sort of confusion on the question of territorial integrity of Manipur.

Indian Government or any foreign power has no authority to pass judgement on the issues faced by the people of the region.

The solution to these problems lie in the hands of the people themselves and they can do so after clearing all the misunderstanding, the AMUCO president stated, adding that there is an urgency to clear the misunderstanding.
