Imphal, May 10: Inspite of the best intentions and efforts, State Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) is having some hiccups in its endeavour to open a Main Media Centre and other Result Announcing centres/booths to keep the public abreast of the latest results of the 14th Lok Sabha election, counting for which would begin from 8 am of May 13.On top of the problem of lack of adequate infrastructure for running the Main Media Centre, the officials concerned are at a loss as to what to do with the Result Announcing Centres/Booths which have been opened at various places for the benefit of the public in the absence of hotline telephone facilities, disclosed a reliable source.

So far announcing booths have been kept opened at four different places.

These are at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium, THAU Ground, Manipur College Campus and Palace Gate.
