Imphal, July 06: With the Monsoon session of the State scheduled to start from tomorrow, the ruling SPF Government is leaving nothing to chance to give any room to the Opposition to embarrass the Government on any issue especially on the financial conditions and the law and order situation.

To fully prepare for the session, a meeting of all the SPF legislators was held today evening at the Chief Minister's residence where a dinner was also hosted.

A well placed source informed The Sangai Express that the Chief Minister has instructed all the MLAs and Ministers to be on their toes so that they do not get caught off guard.

To parry all the questions likely to be raised by the DPA, the Ministers and MLAs were also asked to keep in close contact with the officials concerned.

Gearing up for the big day, the Opposition also met today evening at the residence of DPA leader RK Dorendra.

The meeting deliberated at length on what issues the Opposition should concentrate to catch the Treasury bench off guard, said the source.

During the meeting, the Opposition discussed on how to effectively bring up issues concerning the welfare and interest of the people and to ensure understanding amongst the members.

A meeting of the FPM legislators was also held yesterday at the residence of MLA BD Behring, disclosed a source.

The meeting dwelt at length on what issue to concentrate during the session.

Meanwhile the Assembly Secretariat has finalized all the arrangements for the session starting tomorrow.
