Outer vote count from May 19

Imphal, May 05: As per strict instructions from the Election Commission of India, counting of votes for the Outer Manipur Parliamentary constituency will begin from May 19, disclosed a source from the CEO's office.

Mention may be made here that counting of the Outer constituency was earlier tentatively fixed on May 20.Meanwhile, repoll held today at polling station 54/13 of Thangal under Tamenglongdist recorded at 80% turn out with 651 voters casting their votes out of the total 811 voters under the polling station.

Reports from the Election Control Room also informed that the repoll was conducted in a free and fair manner without any untoward incident taking place.

On the other hand DC/ARO Thoubal has notified all the candidates of the just concluded Lok Sabha polls to submit the names of their respective counting agents and further asked the candidates not to submit more than 15 counting agents' names.
