Imphal, January 23 2009: TWO DEAD bodies killed by security forces in separate shoot out incidents at different places on January 19 and 21 last have been taken by the respective families after postmortem at RIMS morgue today.

One of the dead bodies was that of N Anand of Moirangkampu killed by a combined force of Imphal west police commandos and troops of 16 Assam Rifles at Kanglatombi in the evening of January 21.He was killed with another one who had been identified as P Kunjabihari alias Boss of Khurai Lairkyengbam whose lifeless body is still lying at RIMS morgue.

The other dead body received by the family was that of one Khumukcham Thoiba (46) of Umathel Mayai Leikai who was killed by the Thoubal police commandos at Keirak under Kakchnig police station on the night of January 19 last.

The dead bodies were lying unclaimed at RIMS morgue even after establishment of identities after the family with the supports of locals refused to received stating that they were killed in stage manage encounters.
