Imphal, August 25: Stating that ANSAM has received a fresh invitation for talks from the State Government, spokesman of the student body, Ngachonmi Chamroy informed Newmai News Network that a reply has been sent to the CM through his secretary Binod Kispottia.

In the reply ANSAM made it clear that it would not hold not hold any talk with the Government unless a detailed clarification is given on why the State Government had changed its decision to hold a talk on August-18."While appreciating the reciprocation to our (ANSAM) desire to have a dialogue with the Manipur Government it is to inform that ANSAM wants a satisfactory clarification from the State Government as to why the meeting scheduled for August 18 was abrogated unilaterally by the State Government," said the ANSAM reply to the State Government signed by its general secretary Robert T Maram.

Justifying its stand, Chamroy said that the Government may take another unilateral decision even if ANSAM agrees to the invitation.
