The women protestors were dispersed by the police and were not allowed to submit the memorandum.
Meanwhile, condemning killing of Thangtinsei, a student of LMS Law College and Limlenbert, a footballer, by police commandos claiming them to be 'suspected UGs', the Apunba Lup has announced its support to the cause of the JAC formed in protest against the killing.
The statement signed jointly by its three co-ordinators namely Asem Tondon, Ph Devan and K Sunil also questioned the rationale behind gunning down of 'suspects' before verification by the security forces.
