Imphal, December 27 2009: The All Manipur Labour Union today while expressing strong condemnation on the spree of attacks on the migrant labourers in the state has urged the state government to take action for the security of them at the earliest.

The killing of a bakery at Sagolband Tera is strongly condemned by the body.

Government should extend all kinds of assistances to the bereaved family and take up adequate security measure to ensure safety to the non-local migrants.

On the other hand, killing people migrant workers without any prior notice to them is not an act of human being.

This is an act of terrorists.

The body wanted to clarify within 24-hour if any of them responsible for the killing spree, stated in a statement signed by publicity secretary W Boyai.
