Imphal, September 21 2009: The outlawed Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP-MC) has denounced the atrocities committed against 'unrelated' individuals aftermath any attack on security forces including the recent car bomb near the Raj Bhavan, and attack at Pandon, Babupara, 2nd MR canteen,, Chingmeirong etc by the security forces while maintaining that it is a gift from the colonial rulers to the people of the state.

A statement issued by Lanheiba Meitei, military affairs secretary of the KCP (MC) pointed out that the presence of factions is a ploy of the enemy to suppress the movement of the people.

It stated that the outfit will give a blow to the policy of casting reputed groups into bad light within a short while.

Stating that the recent car bomb near Raj Bhawan was purely an attack targeted to Governor Gurbachan Jagat, the statement asserted that the outfit doesn't have any intention to hurt 'unconnected' persons.

The outfit has also gives strict instruction to its cadres not to hurt civilians.

The statement also pointed out that the explosive planted on the car near Raj Bhawan weighs around 50 kgs with seven hand bombs attached with three mobile handsets used as mobile device remote, and six detonators.
