Imphal, April 08 2009: Even as the meeting between the JAC against the brutal killing of Nameirakpam Nobo Meetei and N Gobin Meetei and Chief Minister O Ibobi doesn't break an ice, the JAC has decided to claim the dead bodies of N Nobo Meetei and N Gobin Meetei tomorrow.

It however warned to launch several agitations in collaboration with various Human Rights organisations.

A press release issued by the JAC co-convenor, Sapam Priyojit said that the talk failed to reach any conclusion due to the personal threat caused to the JAC Convenor, N Ojit Meetei.

It also strongly condemned the threat posed to the JAC Convenor and Meira Association president, Ningombam Ojit Meetei and the reproach to local MLA during the talk between the JAC and the Chief Minister.

The JAC had also submitted a representation to the Governor and the Chief Minister yesterday demanding enquiry into the killing headed by a sitting High Court Judge, to conduct post-mortem of the dead bodies with full video coverage, to compensate the bereaved families with Rs 5lakhs each and give government job to one of the families' members, and to recommend for the imposition of President's Rule in the state.

The JAC has also mentioned that future course of action will be charted out on April 11 .
