Imphal, May 29 2010: In connection with alleged failure to distribute domestic cooking gas to the customers and selling LPG cylinders supplied to an agency in blackmarket, Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Y Erabot has summoned owner of Khoriphaba Gas agency, Nambol to furnish relevant documents within two days.

The Minister personally went to the office and godown of the gas agency at Nambol.

But as the owner could not be met, he directed the chowkidar to convey the owner that he meet the Minister within two days.

The Minister said the gas agency have 590 consumers and on May 27, 306 filled LPG gas cylinders were provided.

But instead of distributing them among the consumers, the gas agency owner sold them off in blackmarket.
