Imphal, July 10 2009: In three separate bombs blast incidents occurred tonight at least two person sustained injuries.

One of the bombs exploded at the house of the proprietor of the Raj Policlinic Hospital where a bomb exploded on Wednesday night.

The blast at the house of the proprietor of Raj Policlinic Hospital took place two day after the hospital located at North AOC was under attack with a bomb on Wednesday night.

In the blast at the proprietor, H Rajen's house at Khurai Soibam Leikai under Porompat police station tonight at around 8.40 pm, a man identified as Lourembam Samanda (29) son of Mangi of Nambol Leimapokpam engage in carpentry work sustained splinter injury.

He was staying at the house of Rajen doing carpentry work there.

He sustained serious splinter injury at the knee and slight injuries at other parts of the body.

The bomb hurled by the miscreants exploded while Samananda and mother of Rajen were sitting and chatting at the verandah of the house at around 8.40 pm.

Some miscreants coming on a scooter apparently Activa hurled the bomb.

After hurling the bomb, the scooter sped up and disappeared from the scene.

Mention may be made that an underground group has exploded a bomb at the hospital complex of the Raj Policlinic on Wednesday night which caused no casualty.

Another bomb was also exploded at the land of one Huirem ongbi Apabi at Heingang Panthoibi Lampak under Heingang police station of Imphal east district.

The bomb exploded on the western side of the house.

The house of the woman is located between the houses of assistant engineer, PWD, Highway division-II, Irom Shantakumar and executive engineer, PWD, mechanical division , Huidrom Bidyasagor.

Yet in another bomb blast occurred at Chavangphai near the post of the 31 Assam Rifles under Moreh police station of Chandel district, a civilian reportedly sustained injury.

Detail of the explosion incident could not be ascertained even though the blast took place this morning at around 10 am.
