Imphal, February 02 2009: Decrying the hurling and explosion of bomb at the resident of contractor, RK Angousana last night, womenfolk of the Khurai Sajor Leikai today staged a sit-in protest at Khurai Sajor Leikai Lairembi Pukhri Mapal.

The sit-in protest commenced from around 9 am and went on till 4 pm.

As stated by RK Jadhonbi, mother of the Angousana on January 31 night also some rounds of guns were fired at the house while she was chatting with her grand sons and daughters.

The hurling and explosion of the bomb was when the children are in fear and panic after the firing incident took place, she said adding that the last night bomb explosion makes the children more fear of minds.

She also appealed the doers not to repeat such incident on humanitarian grounds.

It is a request, she added.

At the sit-in protest site, slogans like, "We protest explosion of bomb at the inhabitant area, don't cause fear and panic to the children by exploding bombs, stop firing of guns and exploding in the residential areas were displayed.
