Imphal, May 28 2010: Peace loving people of Noney in particular and the people of Tamenglong district in general stopped the so-called 'rath yatra' of FCS Minister Y Erabot Singh at noney due to his uncalculated move ignoring sentiment of the people, said Joint Political Party Forum.

A Forum release issued late last night further said 'instead of misjudging the people's sentiment, we wish the Government concentrate more on issues such as providing adequate foodstuff to the needy and maintain peaceful co-existence among different communities and organisations in our State.
