Imphal, June 16 2009: The united National Liberation Front (UNLF) condemns the grisly killing of contractor Yengkhom Krishnadas, stated a press release issued by Ksh Yoiheiba, Senior Publicity Officer of the banned outfit.

Yoiheiba stated that it is a matter of suspicion for the people that such act would be a handiwork of gangs who abduct people and demand ransom.

It will not be surprising to find some of the state police commandos being part of such gangs.

Yoiheiba asked, "Will the state police have the courage to book and produce those real murderers? Or are they going to arrest innocent persons who can be made escape goats?" .

The press release further stated that abducting Krishnadas by armed persons, demanding Rs 2 crore as ransom for his release, and then after heavy negotiation, agreeing to exchange him for Rs 25 lakh, but killing him after taking the huge amount of money are something no revolutionary organisatin would ever do.

Therefore, it will be a right step for revolutionary organisations to allay the suspicions of the family and the people and help opening the veils of those who perpetrated the act of murder, Yoiheiba stated and conveyed words of solace and condolence to the aggrieved family.
