Imphal, October 26 2008: THE KSO and the Zillai strongly condemned the uncouth behaviour of the trigger happy Manipur Police Commandos.

The associations claimed as very unfortunate that the commandos have resorted to such unethical action of fake encounter.

The killing of Paominlal and Haokhogen once again proved the ineptness of policing in the state.

There have been ample of cases of police brutality.

The concerned authority should rein in the erring commandos as the streets have become unsafe for the common people from both the law enforcers and the UGs alike.

The police commandos should think twice or do their homework on identifying militants from civilioan before venturing out on a killing spree.

It should be known that the thoughtless act police have become the cause of civil unrests, bandhs and hartals in the society.

Many times the state police have taken the people for a ride but it is not possible to fool the people at all times.

The KSO and Zillai are ever ready to toe the lines of the JAC in order to secure justice for the families of the victims of police atrocities.

The two bodies will do whatever is necessary to make the government realized the injustice caused to unarmed civilians who got killed at the drop of a hat.
