Imphal, May 02 2009: THE HAND GRENADE attack at the residence of Dr Bilashini Devi at Thangmeiband was carried out by the Demo Team of KCP led by Pamel Meitei, Fund Raiser In-Charge, Imphal West.

This was disclosed today by Tabungba Meitei, Information and Public Relation Department, KCP in a press release.

Explaining the reasons for the attack, Tabungba Meitei stated that the Fund Raiser In-Charge, Imphal West, KCP, Pamel Meitei had first sent bullet and grenade to the doctor's home as the first warning.

However, the doctor defiantly ignored the matters requested by the party.

Therefore, as the last warning the bomb attack was launched, the press release stated adding that Dr Bilashini must contact the party, the press release stated and warned of further attacks and she must bear the responsibilities for the consequences.

KCP in its statement further warned MOBC minister, Md Allauddin that he will be attack at any time when get chances for not responding to the matter put forward by the group.

The group is also considering for hitting officials of the PHED for not paying "PC" payable to the group and asked people not to carry out any kind of protest when officials of the department are attack.

It also claimed that the attack at the house of the Shyamsundar EE, MU Engineering Cell on April 30 night was carried out by a demo team led by Imphal east commander Malemngaba with the advice of the Chief Officer, Panthou Ningthouja as a last warning.

In the future any available staff may be attack by the group, it warned.

The statement also further stated that any demand over phone by Pamei Meitei without letter head seek assistant to informed the matter to the group.

KCP has not given permission to its activists to seek assistant through phone, it stated.
