Imphal, October 27 2009: Father of a 12 year old girl has revenged the killing of her daughter by an insane youth today at Uyumpokpi Mamang Leikai under Lamlai police station in Imphal East district.

According to locals, the incident happened around 5pm when a seemingly insane youth walked into the kitchen of the victim, Boinu Nepali (12), daughter of Sanjoy Nepali and bludgeoned her to death.

Boinu and her mother were preparing dishes.

Moment after her mother went inside their room, the criminal identified as Wahengbam Ashokumar (25) strode into the kitchen.

Without mincing a word, the slayer clubbed the little girl on the head.

He then stoned on her head.

The girl died instantly.

Hearing a weird sound, the mother of the victim rushed out of the room.

On seeing her daughter being murdered, she shouted and alerted the local people.

The culprit was then overpowered by the locals.

The locals had interrogated the culprit Wahengbam Asokumar at Uyumpokpi Mamang Leikai ground.

Asokumar was also said to have admitted that he had committed the crime.

He then pleaded to the crowd for his life.

He was said to have expressed acceptance to any punishment but plead to spare for his life.

Amidst the happening, the father of Boinu, Sanjoy Nepali turned up with a dagger and gashed the head and throat of Ashokumar.

Locals said Ashokumar is having psychiatric problem.

Sanjoy was then taken to his home right after killing his daughter's murderer.

Locals assured him to extend help to him in fighting the legal procedure.

They also assured him that the people will be with him in performing the rites of his daughter.

Police, however, have not gone to the place of the incident till late this evening.
