Imphal, September 25: A joint team of Imphal East police commandos and 32 AR shot dead three UG suspects at Phunal Maring Lamboi Khul under Iribung PS today in an encounter at about 9.30 pm.

Two 9 mm pistols, one hand grenade, one Kinetic Honda were recovered from the slain men, said police.

Another UG suspect was shot dead by Imphal West police commandos today at about 8.40 pm at Awang Leikinthabi.

One hand grenade was recovered.
