Imphal, December 05 2008: THE THREE youths killed by a combined force of Thoubal police commandos and Assam Rifles were not KCP cadres, said a statement of the KCP signed by its information and publicity secretary, H Poirei.

The statement while refuting the Thoubal SP's statement issued yesterday said that Waikhom Rabi @ Kabi and Waikhom Somen @ Chumthang Khanba were former UNLF cadres who later joined to KCP.

They along with Wangkheimayum Hementa were imposters, it said.

Except the group and other cadres who are working under Noyon's leadership, other who are using the name of the outfit are not KCP cadres and they are defaming the outfit with no revolutionary ideology, it said.

The claim of the Thoubal SP itself is a part of the game plan to defeat the true revolutionaries by way of state terrorism and to misguide the revolutionaries of the state struggling for freedom, it said.

KCP is ready to fight and eliminate the counter revolutionaries, the statement added.
