Imphal, June 03 2009: No encounter occurred at Waithou on May 31 between PLA cadres and Assam Rifles stated RPF in a statement while alleging that Khangembam Malesh alias "L/Cpl" Ritesh (37) son of Kh Sanajaoba of Kumbi was killed by the troops of Assam Rifles after rounding up some days ahead of the day.

The statement of the proscribe outfit signed by its chief of the department of publicity GM Changjou also stated that the outfit has given revolutionary salute to the deceased.

Reacting to the claimed of the Assam Rifles that Malesh was killed in an encounter occurred on the night of May 31 at Waithou area on the night of May 31, the statement said that no such encounter occurred between its cadres and security forces.

Killing people in fake encounter and claiming it as encounter is a by heart word of the "IOF" and it was a long practice performing by the police commandos.

The security should know that RPF did not used or issued unbranded weapons to its cadres, the statement further stated reacting to the claimed of recovery of country made pistol from the slain person.

The outfit also did not issue any weapon to him.

The weapon was deposited to the possession of Malesh after killing him after three days of torture in their custody.

Malesh was picked by troops of the 28 Assam Rifles in civil dress who came on a DI tata from Tarungthel village in Andro on May 28.Some newspaper also published on the picking up him.

But liar AR personnel killed him after torturing for three days in its custody.

The killing of man after taking into custody is the violation of International convenant on Civil and Political Right and Geneva Convention.

It also demands to keep up security forces and police commandos to stop killing people.

They should keep the habit of claiming apprehension of a men who they took as guilty within the law govern them.

"L/Cpl" Ritesh (A.no.2824) was appointed on September 13, 2008 as assistant organizer of CB Division-3, later he was transferred as assistant organizer of Div-6.He discharged his duty well with discipline till his last.
