Imphal, June 17 2009: The Imphal West district police has made necessary arrangement for traffic diversion and parking to ensure smooth traffic regulation on June 18 in connection with the observance of the day in Imphal.

According to a statement issued by the SSP of Imphal West, vehicles coming from Thoubal side shall be diverted from Singjamei Bazar and parked at Palace Compound (Normal Parking, NP, -1).Vehicles carrying people to attend the function shall be diverted towards New Checkon.

Vehicles coming from Mayang Imphal side shall be diverted at Khagempalli crossing and Kwakeithel bazaar toward Lamphel Bus parking and Lamphel Sanakeithel for parking.

Vehicles carrying people to attend the function shall be diverted towards the same route to Stadium Complex, Khuman Lampak.

Vehicles coming from Tiddim side shall be diverted towards Lamphel Sanakeithel from Kwakeithel.

And vehicles carrying people to attend the function shall be diverted to Khuman Lampak Stadium.

The vehicles coming from Sagolband road shall be parked at Moirang Leirak Machin bus parking while people coming to attend the function shall be directed to Indoor Stadium Khuman Lampak.

The vehicles coming from Uripok Kangchup Road shall be parked near JAS Petrol Pump, Uripok while vehicles carrying people for the function will be parked at Indoor Stadium, Khuman Lampak.

Vehicles coming from DM Road shall be diverted at Khongnang Ani Karak towards Lamphel Bus parking while vehicles carrying people for the function shall be parked at the Central Bus Terminus, Khuman Lampak.

The vehicles coming from Pangei side shall park in front of Lamlong High School while vehicles carrying people for the function will be parked near Hafiz Hatta Road. The vehicles coming from Ukhrul and Sawombung side shall be parked at Northern side of Lamlong Bazar while vehicles carrying people to attend the function shall be parked at Lamlong Bazar after proceeding towards Checkon crossing and Ayangpalli Road.

Vehicles carrying people for the function from Tinsid Road shall be parked at Northern side of Tinsid Road at Lamlong.

Vehicles coming from Yairipok and Andro sides shall park at Andro Parking and vehicles carrying people for the function shall be parked in front of Asha Hall.

The statement added that vehicles for the 18 victims will be allowed to go across Khoyathong LIC crossing towards North AOC and park in front of Asha Hall.

Earmarked vehicles of 'UCM' will be allowed to come to Kekrupat via Khongnang Ani Karak and earmarked vehicles of 'AMUCO' will be allowed to come to THAU Ground via Khoyathong.
