Imphal, May 19 2009: "It is the act of cowards," said the protestors taking part in the sit-in demonstration staged against the firing of some shots at the house of a lecturer at Lilong Arapti Mayai Leikai last night at around 6.30 pm.

Meanwhile, a powerful bomb was discovered from the Torbung Bungla in Bishnupur district this morning at around 7 am.

The same was later defused and disposed by the bomb experts.

The house of Konthoujam Yaima serving as physics lecturer in the Lilong Haoreibi College located at Lilong Arapti was attacked by some miscreants by firing some rounds of shots yesterday evening at around 6.30 pm.
