Imphal, June 13: Stating that they have identified five persons actively engaged in arming the people with guns issued by the Government of India by misleading the people of Heirok, the proscribed KYKL and UNLF declared that the five individuals would be given capital punishment in line with their earlier declaration.

A joint statement signed by UNLF's Deputy Secretary Organisation Ningombam Ibochou and KYKL's Publicity and Research Secretary Langamba Mangang reminded that they have already declared that all those including the head of the Government, O Ibobi who have been conspiring to bring a civil war in the land by creating SPOs are enemies of the liberation movement.

On account of some people of Heirok who have reportedly received money from Chief Minister O Ibobi stubbornly standing against the 'people's liberation movement', all the people of Heirok including students, employees (both Government and private), wage earners and other workers have been prohibited from venturing outside Heirok with immediate effect, declared the two outfits.

In the event of any casualty resulting from defying the prohibition, it should be assumed as consequences of the activities of those traitors who collaborated with the 'enemies'.

Any individual, group or village who dares to challenge the people's liberation movement more aggressively and those who pay no heed to people's collective plea will be treated in the same manner as enemies, stated KYKL and UNLF.

They also appealed to all truthful and patriotic villagers to stand apart from those boldly taking sides with enemies so that they can be identified easily as and when the outfits take up actions befitting enemies against the 'traitors'.

In the efforts to nip the conspiracy of the Government of India which is to start a blood bath amongst the people of the land, one cannot help but take those traitors collaborating with the alien rule as enemies of the liberation struggle even if they are Manipuris, the two outfits asserted while appealing to all relatives and family members of these collaborators not to blame the two outfits regarding their stance against the collaborators.
