Imphal, April 11: Six suspects out of eight currently in the custody of NSCN (IM) have confessed their involvement in the kidnapping and murder of Muheni Martin and Hrinii Hubert, conveyed the Chairman of the Fact Finding Committee Solomon Veino.

A joint investigation undertaken since yesterday at Hebron camp of NSCN (IM) concluded today.

Representatives of the Fact Finding Committee may meet the Chief Minister tomorrow, informed Solomon.

When asked about their findings after their investigation at Hebron, he disclosed that they have learnt that Brown Tangkhul gave Rs 5000 each to all those involved in the kidnapping and murder of the two kids.

However, Veino refused to name the culprits other than Manikho and Brown Tangkhul saying that it would be premature.

The Fact Finding Committee has now directed its investigation towards establishing the master-mind behind the gruesome crime and the possible motive, said Solomon while disclosing that the NSCN (IM) allowed the Fact Finding Committee to question the suspects currently under its custody.

He informed that the members of the Committee will be going to Hebron after four days.

On the other hand, SP Dimapur informed that till date there has been no official intimation regarding the arrest warrant issued by the Government of Manipur.
