Imphal, April 03: The GPRN/NSCN (K) has strongly condemned the NSCN (IM) in connection with the kidnapping and subsequent murder of the two kids, Muheni Martin and Hriini Hubert, alleging that the IM group is directly or indirectly involved in the case.

In a statement, the SO of the Ministry of Information and Publicity of the NSCN (K), Shepoumaramth Region, said that the two children were kidnapped on December 14 last year and despite numerous appeals were found brutally murdered.

Casting aspersions on the NSCN (IM), the SO questioned why the IM group is deliberately keeping the culprits under their custody and charged that their plan is to earn money from the culprits like in the case of Lungnila Elizabeth.

In the interest of the public and Core Committee, the culprits should be handed over to the Committee, demanded NSCN (K).

The outfit further questioned why the NSCN (IM) is providing shelter to the culprits despite the fact that the two kids went missing more than 100 days back.

"This makes it clear that the NSCN (IM) is directly or indirectly involved in the case," asserted the NSCN (K).

The GPRN/NSCN (K) of the Shepoumaramth region has also appealed to other underground groups to hand over any suspect in their custody to the Core Committee.

The outfit charged that Brown Tangkhul, one of the suspects in the custody of the NSCN (IM), is an arms supplier of the IM group.
