Imphal, September 10: In protest against the bomb blast at Chingmeirong Khongnang Ani Karak yesterday which left two security personnel and three civilians wounded, a mass sit-in demonstration attended by people of various communities was held at Chingmeirong today.

Organised under the aegis of Chingmeirong Apunba Nupi Kanglup Association, the protest demonstration strongly decried triggering of bomb in densely populated public places and posed the question of how long should the public remain tolerant of such senseless violence through the slogans inscribed on the placards used.
