Imphal, June 08 2010: Referring to the call of Naga Leaders' Forum (NLF) for peace, the Naga Youth Front said that it was shocked with the surfacing of some vested anti-Naga individuals along with responsible Naga elders and leaders, who have tried to become leaders, though they have alreaady been rejected by their own people.

Taking the name "Naga Leaders Forum" which is allegedly purely a Manipuri Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCCI) forum is disgusting, it remarked.

Imitating the Meiteis, forming one man one organisation/Lup/Club is an insult to the Naga customs and cultural values to exist as a collective society.

"What democratic approach for healthy and positive good of all concern do you mean ? .

Where were your sense and sensibilities when the Naga and tribal people approached democratically to have people's consensus to the well crafted Anti-Tribal act that was pushed through by the majority communal community to undermine the existence of tribal interest?", the NYF asked the NLF.

"Where were your senses when two students Chakho and Loshou were murdered, hundreds of women were assaulted and shot in Mao-gate?", it went on.

The NYF accused R.Keishing, Gaikhangam, RK Thekho, A.Aza, A.S.Arthur, L.Benjamin Anal, Francis Ngajokpa, D.Korungthang Maring, Khangthuanang Panmei, and DD Thaisii of being anti-Naga.

It advised the Naga elders to watch their steps carefully before befriending some one who has grudge against the Naga people.

History will not fail to keep their names in golden plate as "biggest betrayer of Naga people", it added.
