Imphal, October 31 2009: KCP (MC) today stated that the two activists of the group were killed in three hour long gunfight by a combined force of troops of Assam Rifles and an underground group on October 27 and 28 last.

The clash occurred at a place located at the border of Tamenglong and Senapati, the statement of the group signed by Puranthaba, officer, Information and Publicity Relations, Kangleipak Communist Party (MC) while lauding its slain activists who fought with bravely with the combined force.

The statement also identified the slain activists as lance corporal Aribam Megha alias Sathiba (29) (army no 1001) son of A Shyamgopal and A Ibemhal of Nongren Mayai Leikai, Imphal East and lance corporal Rajesh Thapa alias Lamyanba (24), army no.1013 son of Bin Bahadur and Maya Devi of Gamnung village of Ukhrul district and expressed giving revolutionary salute to the departed souls.

The statement also alleged that the clash occurred when some vested interest persons for the sake of money passed the information of loitering their activists in the area.

The group identified the informer and UG group who launched attack to its activists on that day.

As they started hitting to its activists they will also start attacking them as the time to showcase the courage of the group has come.

The statement also claimed that the bomb blast at the house of one Surchandra of Ningthoukhong last night at about 9 pm was performed by its activists for challenging the group by not obeying the words put forward by them.

The person concern should communicate with the party within the next two days to bring an end to the matter.

Otherwise, any untoward incident occurred on him should be owns responsibility.

The statement further asked departments, hospitals/clinics and NGOs private firms, individuals to keep by the words that the party kept on them.

Any violation of matter put forward by the party should be their sloe responsibly.

The activities of the party are not for own benefits but for the people should be known by the concerns.

To bring changes in the society, there have responsibility of all section of the society, it added.
