KLA names arson culprits

Imphal, October 30 2008: Denying its involvement in the October 23 arson at Lahorijan, Assam which killed two passengers, the KLO/KLA has disclosed names of those persons responsible for the crime who have been allegedly operating as a gang.

According to a press release issued by the outfit's deputy C-in-C Robinson Kuki, the perpetrators of the ghastly crime were Seikhohao alias Malwin Khongsai of Thingkanphai, Churachandpur, Ngamlet alias Jamdil Khongsai of Changkipot, Churachandpur, Paokholen Haokip s/o Nehthang of Checkon, Imphal, Letkhogin alias Hegin of Terakhong near Andro and Henkholen alias Steward of Bethany village, Sapermeina.

Steward is currently lodged in Sajiwa Jail.

Even then he has been making monetary demands from the public through his contacts, Robinson disclosed.

It further appealed to the public not to cooperate with the group and not to misunderstand the outfit with such gangs.

The outfit also appealed to the people to inform them in case they come across members of the alleged gang.
