Imphal, December 26: Terming the incidents of December 14, 17 and 20 as cases of extreme instigation for major upheavals in the State, the International Manipuri Mothers' Association has condemned the incidents of kidnapping of two school children for ransom on December 14, heartless rape and murder of a 10 year old girl in Nongmaiching hills on December 17 and the murder attempt on Kangla Pao editor P Labango on December 20.A press hand out by IMMA while demanding clarification from all concerned on these disturbing incidents, urged the State Government to pay due attention before these incidents snowballed into momentous issues.

Taking strong exception to the kidnapping of kids and murder of Ichal, the All Manipur Women's Social Reformation and Development Samaj has strongly condemned these incidents.

It appealed to the kidnappers to release the children immediately on humanitarian ground.

It further urged the State Govt to pull up the murderers of Ichal and to award appropriate punishment while also condemning the murder attempt on P Labango.

The Samaj asked all concerned to let the media persons work freely.

The Gorkha Nava Yuvak Sangha has also appealed to the kidnappers to release Muheni Martin and Hrini Hubert safely.

It also shared the grief and hardships of the families.
