Imphal, April 26: Contrary to a statement issued by the military affairs secretary Lanheiba Meitei of the proscribed KCP (MC) claiming responsibility for triggering the powerful bomb blast yesterday at Babupara as well as planting another explosive device at Mapal Kangjeibung, a statement the issued by Tamnganba, propaganda, communication & technical officer (Military Council) of KCP (MC) denied any connection of the armed group to the twin incidents.

While strongly condemning the blast and attempted explosion at public places, Tamnganba called for sanity to all concerned.

The statement also informed that after detailed deliberation by the party restriction imposed against activities of KC Meetei has been lifted with immediate effect.

On the otherhand, the banned outfit conveyed of offering revolutionary salute to Lanbiba alias Boinao alias Yengkhom Premananda s/o Y Tunanba Singh of thoubal Leishangthem who was allegedly gunned down after arrest by commando personnel at Mongjam area recently.
