Imphal, January 23: Congress party organisation's North East in-charge Sanjay Bhupa today referred to unanimity among members of Block Congress Committee for allocation of party ticket to As Arthur for contesting Ukhrul AC while denial of similar status to Th Shyamkumar for the Andro seat is due to a legal case against the latter.

Disclosing the matter to some media persons at Congress Bhavan this afternoon, Sanjay Bhupa conveyed that Congress organisation accords high respect to all party workers in addition to describing Aleng Shimray as a 'respectable individual'.

Regarding the Shyamkumar case, he reiterated legal complication the ticket aspirant is currently embroiled in.

Meanwhile, to galvanise support to Congress candidates in the ensuing election, Union Minister BK Handique arrived in the State today.
