Lamka, December 19 2008: Admitting involvement of its cadres in the Kwakta violence which claimed one and injured several others, the KNF (MC) informed that one of its cadres who went to warn drug peddlers at Kwakta was lynched by the villagers, reports our Lamka correspondent.

On the fateful day, cadres of the outfit went to Kwakta to warn Tinglen, Ngailhing, Hoinu, Boinao, Naoba, Apikpi and Mudhun against their illegal trade in drugs (heroine).

But the villagers lynched one of the cadres, said KNF (MC) IPR secretary Th Rio Kuki.

Cautioning against continuing their illegal trade with dire consequences, KNF (MC) pledged that it will continue their fight against abusing substances.

The outfit also sought cooperation from civil societies towards its effort.
