Imphal, February 19: A youth was found killed with multiple bullet wounds at a Churachandpur district village this morning.

The youth later identified as T Lamsianthang (22) of Tuaitenphai village of the district was discovered by nearby residents lying in a pool of blood ata paddy field at near Mualvem village.

The incident site is located about 6 kilometre east of Churachandpur police station.

According to information received by the press, locals trooped out of their homes upon hearing gunshots in the direction of the paddy field at around 10.40 am and found the body of the 22 year old.

While Ccpur police have registered a case on the incident and the body handed over to family members on completion of post mortem at the district Hospital (CCpur), police sources informed that the victim sustained atleast four bullet wounds at various parts of the body.
