Lamka, October 27 2008: Kuki National Army today said it had awarded capital punishment to one of its 'women cell'cadre on charges of misappropriating party funds and abortive attempts to form new party.

''She did really deserve what she had been awarded (as there is no way out) as a non-commital cadre of the KNO and not as a cadre belonging to other outfits, clan or tribe,'' said the statement issued by CL Kuki, Wing Commander of VI, the wing in which Domneithem alias Thethem Haokip had served as a Finance Accountant before her demise.

Besides non-commitment to the Kuki Cause she was also unconsciously involved in the activities of UNLF and UKLF, it said.
