Imphal, November 26: The man shot dead by troops of 7 AR at Borayangbi under Kumbi police station in the early hours of November 25 has been identified as one Md Qutub Ali (36) s/o Md Ashraf Ali of Phundrei Makha Leikai.

However as no family members have come to claim the corpse, it is still lying at RIMS mortuary.

Bodies taken: The corpse of the two youths found shot dead at Keirao Makting under Irilbung police station last morning have been handed over to respective family members after post mortem at RIMS today.

The two deceased have been identified as Md Abdul alias Chotabhai (18) and Md Abdul Razak alias Inao Pikpi (16).Both of them belonged to Keirao Makting Menjor Ingkhol.

Meanwhile, post mortem examination of the corpse of Wahengbam Janeshwar alias Ibochou of Wangoi Wahengbam Leikai found hacked to death on November 23 was conducted today at RIMS.

However, the family members are still refusing to claim the body.
