Imphal, January 25 2010: The proscribed KCP-MC has claimed about planting a bomb inside Leimakhong army garrison in addition to triggering bombs at two places near commando complex within Imphal Municipal Council area today inflicting injuries to some commando personnel.

A press release issued by the outfit military affairs secretary Lanheiba Meitei said that bomb attacks were undertaken by the KFL's 5th Lanjaba Unit (Special Demo Team).

Even though it is claimed that India is a republic, its citizens are yet to enjoy the real taste of democracy, it alleged.

When the Republic of India is entering into the 61st year, majority of the people are staying from Republic Day celebrations except for some politicians.

Had Manipur been a real Republic, would the Government of India deploy more than 50,000 soldiers and allow them to indulge in all kinds of excesses and human rights violation, the outfit questioned.

Cautioning that playing subservient to New Delhi would land the people of Manipur in a sea of misery, the outfit exhorted the people to know the enemies and act accordingly.

It called upon the people not to work together with the alien forces but to stay away from them.

Pointing out that there cannot be peace in a land where a war is raging, the outfit asserted that cannot be a reality in Manipur until and unless it is totally independent from New Delhi.

The party is not only boycotting the Republic Day but also challenging the Republic Day celebration with violence.

The outfit also sought attention of other insurgent outfits whether it's not time to take the outfit into their stride.

It further asserted that unity and sacrifice are the only ways of achieving success in a revolutionary movement.
