Imphal, September 19: Women folk of Keishamthong areas today staged sit-in-protest to denounce the bomb threat against the proprietor of Rajen Dresses namely Pukhrambam Rajen (70) of Keishamthong Top Leirak.

The explosive device was reportedly placed at the individual's residence this morning.

The protestors put up placards denouncing bomb attack/placing at residential areas, causing fear psychosis to the general populace and violence culture.

According to family sources, two unidentified persons who came in a Kinetic Honda hurriedly left the explosive device without foreseeable reason insisting that they are unaware of any threat or monetary demand from any UG group.

On being informed a police team arrived and recovered the bomb, they added.
