Imphal, November 16: The officers and staff of the Department of Social Welfare held a meeting today to condole the sudden demise of Moirang ICDS Project CDPO Y Rasheswari.

The meeting strongly condemned the inhuman cold blooded killing.

Two minutes' silence was also observed to pay respect to the departed soul, conveyed a release.

The Anganwadi Self Help Lup Manipur has strongly condemned the killing of CDPO Rasheswari.

In a press release, the Lup conveyed condolence over the demise of Rasheswari.

It also appealed to all concerned not to undertake such cruel acts in future.

The CPI Manipur State Council has also condemned the killing of Rasheswari in the strongest term.

It remarked that killing an individual without ascertaining the gravity of his/her faults is a case of blatant violation of human rights.
