Imphal, December 04: Unable to establish the identities of the two individuals shot dead by troops of 1 Assam Rifles as UG cadres in the intervening night of November 26 and 27 at Pihang under Chassad police station, their corpses have been handed over to Imphal Municipality for disposal after post mortem at RIMS today.

Meanwhile, the corpse of the youth shot dead by troops of 1 AR at Molvailup under Chassad police station at about 2.30 am yesterday has been brought to RIMS mortuary today.

The deceased wore combat dress and his ears were pierced.

On the other hand, the corpse of the man shot dead by Imphal East commandos at Heingang Awang Leikai on December 1 still remains unidentified at RIMS morgue.
